Cognitive security

Everything in the model comes from three ideas that grew up together. Read in order, the model explains itself: a philosophy without a shield is a sentiment; a shield without a model is an aspiration; UCSMM is where the two become a number that can be improved .

FIGURE 1 — THREE IDEAS, ONE MODEL

1 · THE PHILOSOPHY

Invisible Engineering

The best technology does not ask for attention. It works quietly and protects people's freedom to think and choose. Security should be present everywhere, in the way nowhere.

2 · WHAT IT PROTECTS

The Cognitive Shield

When machines can influence decisions, the human mind becomes the new security perimeter. The shield protects judgement, attention and choice.

→

3 · HOW IT IS BUILT

UCSMM

A maturity model that turns the philosophy and the shield into something measurable: four dimensions, five levels, one honest assessment, a clear next step.
