The study path

Before you learn anything, know where you stand. This degree teaches no technology: it clears the ground you will build on, corrects your picture of the present, drops the myths holding you back, and fixes exactly where you are.

1. 1A world that learns without youedit_note3 exercises, 1 h 5 min
2. 2Seven myths holding you backedit_note3 exercises, 30 min
3. 3Where do you stand? The diagnosticedit_note3 exercises, 55 min

5. door_openGate 1: Your own assessment matrix, coloured in by hand.scheduleAbout half an hour.

You will not master a tool whose workings you do not know. This degree gives you the right mental model: how a machine learns, how language models "think", and why they are confidently wrong — without a single equation.

1. 1What is artificial intelligence?edit_note3 exercises, 45 min
2. 2How a machine learnsedit_note3 exercises, 50 min

7. door_openGate 2: One page, in your words, explaining machine learning to a non-specialist.scheduleOne to two hours, and a meeting with your reader.

Here knowledge turns into output. You learn to delegate rather than ask, to engineer context, to run an agent, to build an assistant on your own knowledge — and then to verify before you sign your name to any of it.

1. 1From command to commissionedit_note3 exercises, 1 h 5 min
2. 2Context engineeringedit_note3 exercises, 2 hours

7. door_openGate 3: A real piece of professional work, and the page that shows you checked it.scheduleThree to four hours.

You produce with the tool. Now learn how you are attacked: the system you built, and the mind that runs it. This degree joins classical information security, model security and cognitive security into one defence.

1. 1From information security to AI securityedit_note2 exercises, 45 min
2. 2Five attacks you must knowedit_note3 exercises, 1 h 5 min

6. 6Quantum and post-quantum cryptographyedit_note3 exercises, 45 min
7. door_openGate 4: A miniature red-team test and a cognitive defence plan.scheduleOne to two working days.

What you do alone does not outlast you. Here you turn your own judgement into a system the organisation runs on: you turn a principle into a decision, bring a standard down to the ground, measure your maturity as a number, and engineer your resilience before you need it.

1. 1Responsibility firstedit_note3 exercises, 55 min

7. door_openGate 5: An approved use policy and a completed maturity assessment.scheduleOne to two weeks, most of it waiting for approval.

You have mastered the tool, protected it and governed it. What remains is what the tool will not do for you: make what did not exist, lead the people who make it, and leave something that keeps working after you stop.

7. door_openGate 6: An initiative you launched, and the document that hands it on.scheduleFour to eight weeks: an initiative needs time to reach proof.
