Eleven operating modules, a dual dashboard for people and pipelines, and a six-month field case

This is the working manual of the cognitive security series. Sections 1 to 5 explain the problem, the frameworks behind the playbook and the measures we use. Section 6 walks through the eleven modules. Section 7 reports what happened when we ran Cognitive XOps for six months with a team of fifty people, and Section 8 sets out a 24-month roadmap for any organisation that wants to follow.

  • 01The problem and the frameworks
Sections 1 to 3 set out why AI changes what can go wrong, and the six frameworks this playbook puts to work.

Sections 4 and 5 define the yardstick: UCSMM maturity, DORA delivery metrics and the Cognitive Load Index.
  • 03The modules
Section 6 describes the eleven modules, from prompts as code to standards alignment.
  • 04The evidence and the path
Sections 7 and 8 report the six-month field case and the three-wave, 24-month roadmap.
